About Us
Betting Not On Gamstop is an independent research site for adults in Great Britain who want to understand betting sites not on GamStop before they decide anything. We review bookmakers, explain bonuses and payment terms in plain English, and set out the risks as clearly as the features. This page explains who we are, how we work, how we are paid and what we cannot tell you.
What we publish and who it is for
Our readers are over 18 and mostly in the UK. Some know bookmaking well. Others have never read a set of bonus terms. We write for both, so we explain terms such as wagering requirements, minimum qualifying odds and source-of-funds checks rather than assuming you know them.
Our coverage includes:
- Bookmaker reviews, with a focus on newer operators
- Guides to welcome bonuses, free bets, price boosts, cashback and loyalty rewards
- Payments and withdrawals: debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, crypto and mobile options, plus fees and verification
- Sports markets and bet types, from football and horse racing to darts, snooker and esports
- Betting apps, in-play betting, early cash-out and customer support
- Responsible gambling tools and where to get help
We also cover casino-style products where bookmakers run them alongside sport. Our separate non GamStop casinos guide covers that side in more detail.
What "not on GamStop" actually means
GAMSTOP is the national self-exclusion scheme for online gambling in Great Britain. Operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission must take part. A site "not on GamStop" is usually licensed overseas instead. That means the following:
- Registering with GAMSTOP does not block you from these sites.
- They are generally not under UK Gambling Commission rules, and its protections and complaints routes may not apply.
- Accepting British customers is not the same as being authorised to serve them. We do not treat the two as equal.
- Overseas licences differ in strictness. We report which licence a site says it holds, and you should check it with the issuing regulator.
If you have excluded yourself through GAMSTOP, please think carefully before using any site that sits outside the scheme. Exclusion periods exist to protect you. Our responsible gambling page covers limits, blocking software and support.
How we research and rank
We do not claim to have deposited, bet or withdrawn at any site. Our reviews rely on desk research: each bookmaker's published terms, licence statements, payment and support pages, and the offers it advertises. We then compare the findings across sites.
- We collect the advertised offer and the conditions attached to it.
- We check what is stated about wagering, minimum odds, expiry dates, maximum bonus bets and cashout limits.
- We review the payment methods listed, with attention to GBP accounts, fees and currency conversion.
- We note stated withdrawal limits, processing times and verification rules.
- We look at sports coverage, bet types, apps, customer support and complaints procedures.
- We record the stated licence and ownership information where it is published.
Editorial ratings are our own scores for this research. They are not customer-review scores and they do not predict your experience. Advertised processing times are what operators say, not results we measured.
How we are funded
We may earn a commission if you sign up to a bookmaker through a link on this site. That is how we cover the cost of running it. Commission does not buy a place in our rankings or change what we write about a site's weaknesses. Every operator we recommend has drawbacks, and we state them.
What our sites list shows
Our ranked cards show the bookmakers we currently feature, with their advertised offers. At the fact-check date of 1 October 2026 these include Tenobet, smash, Betninja, CoinPoker, WinnerIsland, Gambiva, Gamble Gorilla, BetBluff, Rolletto and 7abet. Bonus sizes are shown in euros, dollars or pounds depending on the operator. This is a reminder to check which currency your account will use, since conversion can add cost.
Advertised offers change often and can be withdrawn or varied. Treat any figure as bookmaker advertising until you have read the current terms on the operator's own site.
What we cannot verify
- We cannot guarantee that any site will pay out, or pay out quickly.
- We cannot confirm that a payment method works for your account until the operator confirms it.
- We cannot resolve disputes with a bookmaker, although we can point you to its complaints procedure.
- We do not offer betting tips as a route to income. Betting is entertainment, and you can lose money.
No betting site is completely safe. Please read the bonus terms and the terms and conditions of this site before acting on anything here.
If gambling stops being fun
Set deposit and loss limits, take breaks and never bet money you need for bills. In Great Britain, GamCare offers free, confidential support, and the National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133. You can also use blocking software to restrict gambling sites on your devices.
